HER SWORN ENEMY

Money doesn't matter when what you want is revenge.

Self-made millionaire and family black sheep Tucker McCormack has one goal-payback. He's planning a hostile takeover of the McCormack empire, but his latest roadblock is too beautiful to resist...and she's his brother's ex.

Headstrong antiquities expert Belladonna Dupre has put every asset she has on the line to recover her family's fortunes from a shipwreck in the Gulf of Mexico, but she needs a dive salvage operator to make it happen. Enter Tucker McCormack. He's smart, good with his hands, and sexy as hell in a dive suit, but he demands joint credit for the discovery as a condition to work with her.

Bella won't be bullied into giving up what's rightly hers. Tuck won't take no for an answer. It's a battle on the high seas, where sparks fly, attraction smolders, and anything can happen.

Meyers piles on the gee-whiz moments and eye-ball kicks - including a steam-powered freeze machine, electric stun guns powered by Tesla coils, and a clockwork horse - in a well-crafted, eminently enjoyable story that will leave readers wanting more...

A world worth the wait with wall-to-wall action and adventure, Meyers is a genuine, fresh voice in the paranormal romance genre. Not to be missed!

The More Things Change...

The more they actually stay the same. As in I haven't updated anyone on my writing in several months. Which is normal right now - if anyone can be normal again. Honestly, I have an excellent reason. Let me give you a peek behind the curtain. I've been working three jobs - yes, three. I work full time as a high school teacher, and part-time as an adjunct professor of English and Communications for a community college and an adjunct professor for an MFA program at a university. In other words, the writing, and any attached updates, have been slower than normal. The good news is there has been a change. I received the rights back to Shadowlander, from my Shadow Sisters series, which means I'll be able to rerelease that novella, and the new novel, Shadow Hunter, that goes with it. I'm also still working on creating new ebook versions of my Sons of Midnight stories. All in all, it's a lot of extras that aren't writing. However progress is progress, even if it's only in millimeters. For example, I've got new covers for my Sons of Midnight books and been reworking the titles a bit to make them more consistent (since many of the titles I offered up my publisher were changed by the marketing department). And, just for being so patient with me, I'm going to give you a sneak peek. Ready?
See? Isn't that much better? (for reference go look at the old cover still up under my paranormal books). Now I'm going to go back to the work piled up on my desk, but stay tuned. There is more about the new books to come...

Here's to a Year Better Than the Last

I don't know about you, but 2021. Oy. That was rough! Almost as bad as 2020. But here's to hoping it wasn't a dress rehearsal for 2022. I'm a positive person by nature, so I'm still hopeful. I've finished on edits for Shadow Hunter, the second in my Shadow Sisters series about the O'Connell sisters and the dark fae realm of Shadowland and Wyldwood and should be getting a release date soon. If you remember the character Kallus Thayer from Shadowlander, he's finally getting his own story in this new book, and so is Catherine (Cate) O'Connell's younger sister Margaret (Maggie).  I've also been working on getting my Sons of Midnight series from Harlequin (vampire and werewolf paranormal romance) stories back up for sale, now that I've gotten the rights back. While this means you won't find them for sale on their site any longer, it does mean that they'll be coming soon for digital release with brand new covers, and even better, brand new stories added to the series! I'm also working on a brand new super secret project...a departure from my romance roots, but a great story all the same. Here's to 2022! May it be a great year.
